Above the Clouds Thinking of You Card - Stacey Krats- Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I can’t believe I waited this long to use the Above the Clouds stamp set as it is retiring on June 2, 2020. It is such an uplifting set and I love that it can be used for multiple occasions. I will be making some graduation cards using the “you’re off to great places” stamp. I love the color combination here using Seaside Spray and Purple Posy. I got the idea from Artisan designer Lauren Alarid. She is so talented! I hope you like it!

Instructions:

Card base: 8 ½” x 5 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”
2 Whisper White cardstock pieces cut at 5 ¼” x 4″
2 Whisper White cardstock scrap pieces
Stamp clouds on Whisper White in a random pattern using the stamp off method to get different shades of blue
Stamp sentiment in bottom right corner
Stamp balloons and baskets on scrap piece of Whisper White and punch out with balloon punch. Make sure to line up balloon and basket according to punch
Color balloons using the Stampin’ Blends either as shown, or your own combination. Tip: Color with light shade first, then use dark shade to add dimension
Adhere 1st balloon and basket to card front using snail
Adhere 2nd balloon and basket to card front using dimensionals
Tie small bow using white Baker’s Twine and trim to liking
Adhere to raised balloon using Glue Dot
Place sequence as shown using the Take Your Pick Tool
Stamp inside sentiment on 2nd piece of Whisper White cardstock and adhere to inside of card using Snail
